“Two seasons ago I was able to demo a SeedMaster drill and fell in love with the seed and fertilizer placement. The drill did so well that the following year I bought a SeedMaster UltraSR single rank drill. Through 2022, the UltraSR also had a competitive drill and cart running beside it and we saw a big difference in germination. Especially with the canola fields. Standing in the field, the SR seeded rows looked like a picket fence while the other seeded areas were inconsistent with germination. I was so impressed with the UltraSR, I sold the other drill and added a second UltraSR to the farm for spring 2023. Why? Germination, fuel savings, savings on canola seed, lower horsepower needed, lower hydraulic requirements.
