Board of Directors

Norbert Beaujot

Founder

Norbert Beaujot is the founder and president of SeedMaster Manufacturing. This company was based on a concept that Norbert developed in the early nineties: a terrain-following, dual-knife opener that revolutionized the no-till industry. In 2003, SeedMaster Manufacturing was established in Emerald Park, SK and the company continues to grow and develop each year.

From the creation of the opener to the UltraPro On-Frame Delivery System, and UltraPro II Metering System, Norbert has been an innovator in the agriculture industry, and looks to push engineering boundaries by coming up with solutions to make farms more profitable. In 2018, SeedMaster launched the first single rank toolbar of its kind. This toolbar requires less horsepower and employs an efficient residue management system. Norbert continues to play a role in SeedMaster research and development, inspiring those around him to think about solving problems instead of working within the confines of what has already been created.

Norbert was also the creator of the DOT Power Platform and founder of DOT Technology Corp. This product was an autonomous self-driving tractor that has set the bar for autonomy within broad-acre farming. In 2020, DOT Technology Corp was sold to Raven Industries and continues to play a role in advancing the future of farming.

Of his many accomplishments, Norbert has a close-knit family who has worked closely with him in his business endeavors. His wife, two sons, and daughter still take on an active role in shaping the future of the company and agriculture.
